Summer

So my junior year is officially over. I'm a senior now and gosh it feels weird. I still feel like I should be in 4th grade. haha.
Anyway, here's a picture of some makeup I did for a video for my creative writing final. I realized I really love doing specialty makeup(like age, of scars ect.)

I used my Ben Nye theatrical makeup kit that I got for Christmas. I love it. It came with nose and scar wax, fake blood, a bunch of different cream color pallets, different shades of foundation, eyebrow and lip pencils and a bunch of other awesome stuff. Seriously,if you are into theater I highly recommend it.(Not a sponsor, lol)

Hello all,
Last Saturday I decided I wanted to make something so I sewed my very first quilt! My creative writing teachers wife just reasently had their first baby so I made them a baby quilt.

Its far from perfect, but it was the first quilt I've ever made. As you can see I tried to do a pin wheel pattern on the front(I had to cut out and sew together 160 triangles!) and on the back I used a really soft minky. I even put a embroidered tag on it. I should have taken pictures while I was making it, but I didn't think of it. I'm super proud of it and I had a great time making it. My teacher loved it and said his baby will to.

Its been a while

Hey everyone!
Sorry It's been so long since I've posted anything. I'll try to get you all caught up. Junior year has come and almost gone. I've been in 3 plays/ musicals this year. I played Essie in "You can't take it with you". Here are some of my favorite photos from that.

Then I teched for the one act show "Baby". I didn't get cast in it, but I love theater so I teched anyway. Oh, did I mention we had a new director this year too? We ended up coming in second to last place but I got an award for the age makeup I did. The judges loved me!

Next I was in "Anything Goes". I played Chasity (one of Renos angels). Here are a few pics.

WE WON STATES

Hello agian!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I haven't had a break since January. The musical went well. AND WE WON THE ONE ACTS! I was soooo happy. At first we won regionals and went on to states then we won states too! I'm still so happy about it! I don't know if I told you yet but the play was "Mother Hicks" I played Alma Ward.

Winter formal

Hey everyone, yes I'm still here. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been involved in the one act competition and the musical at my school. The competition for the one act is in March so I'll let you know how it goes, wish me luck! The musical my school is doing is the Wizard of Oz (I think I already told you that) Anyway I'm Auntie Em! It's so fun.

Lets see what else has happened, oh I asked a boy to the winter formal at my school and he said yes!! We had a lot of fun together, in fact it was the best dance I've been too! Here's a picture of me (its not the best quality but the camera was stupid, it also deleted the ones of me and him together! Grrrrr technology) The dress and shoes were super sparkly!

Any way that's basically it. I'll try to post more often.

Pin-Win

I just love how these turned out! I've be collecting gumball machines for some time now, but they were just sitting in my closest. I decided I wanted to make a little Christmas cash so I made theses. I used stuffing for snow and some dollar tree trees. I added some ribbon around the pole in the center to spruce it up a bit, and used little velvet mice. Oh and on the largest one I hung buttons as snowflakes.

I ended up making and selling all five to local antique stores! Here's a close up on one. I personally like the small silver one and the largest one.

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving, I can't wait until Christmas.

Schools going pretty well so far, its almost the end of the first quarter! Woohoo! Also I'm now at(and a little bit below) my goal weight of 125(I fluctuate from 120-125)!!!! I'm also in the fall play at my school, it called the Imaginary Invalid, I only have a small part but whatever, its fun and I love to act. The musicals going to be Wizard of Oz and I look forward to auditioning for it, gotta keep my fingers crossed.
